Sitting at the intersection of Lane Cove River and Parramatta River is the exclusive Cockatoo Island. Here you can enjoy a private camping oasis. Our 1-Night Cockatoo Island Campsite is perfect for a group of four friends or for a small family. This unpowered campsite measures 4 x 4m.

Just bring your camping gear and get ready to relax. The campground provides a camp kitchen with a refrigerator, boiling water, a microwave, and several barbecuing areas. There are plenty of toilet and shower facilities available. And any items you forgot to pack can be purchased or hired from the campground: mats, toiletries, towels, and more.

Notable Information

Alcohol is available for purchase and should not be brought onto the island by campers. Café-style food is available on the island. Societe Overboard food packs can be pre-ordered. Don’t worry about forgotten items; we have everything you need for purchase or for hire. This includes toiletries, towels, and equipment.

Men’s Gift Store experience vouchers are redeemable directly with the experience provider with full details provided upon purchase. Recipients have 3 years to use the full value of the voucher. This package includes a Cockatoo Island campsite for one night, Monday through Sunday.

Check-in is at 2:00pm. Check-in after 5:00pm is available, but you must give advance notice. You must check-out by 10:00am. The price of this campsite excludes special events and holidays. Cockatoo Island is reachable by water taxi, Harbour City Ferries, or private company transport. Unmetered parking is available at Woolwich.
