Hipwood Brewery at International Hotel will follow. Located in Spring Hill, this often missed on-site brewery creates an array of local beers – so boutique, they can only be purchased on location! Here, the tasting flight will accompany his included pub-style lunch of burgers, pizzas, salads and more.
The tour concludes at one of two funky locations – either the All Inn Brewing Co, known for their selection of often changing cool, unique and creative brews; or Bacchus Brewing, where they get super imaginative – challenging the traditional idea of beer with ideas such as a Snickers-inspired ale. Delicious! This spot also includes a guided tour of the brewing process.
Available from Tuesday to Saturday, the 6-hour tour starts from either the front of The Gresham pub at 10:30am, or The Foundry café at 10:45am. Both spots are Brisbane institutions, and are certainly worth a visit before or after the tour! Drop-off can be in any spot in the CBD convenient for him.
