Western Explorer Brewery Tour, BNE

Craft beer and microbreweries have really taken Australia by storm – adding that element of boutique goodness to our already large beer-loving culture. Through our Western Explorer Brewery Tour for one lucky guy, he will traverse the western suburbs of Brisbane – getting to witness 4 awesome lesser-known microbreweries with history galore. Over 6-7 hours, he will taste delicious craft beers, learn history and about creative brewing ideas and processes, eat a mouth-watering lunch, and enjoy being taken around in his own private air-conditioned van.

After collection at 10:30am or 10:45am (depending on his chosen pick-up location), the tour will head west to start the day at Aether Brewery. He will wet his whistle with tastings of their core range and their often available guest brews, and be taught all about the ingredients he’s sipping, and get a guided tour around the brewery.

Next on the itinerary is 4 Hearts Brewing at the Pumpyard – where first up is a tour of the brewery found inside a stunning photogenic historical building. After his wander around, it will be time for a feast of mouth-watering lunch, paired perfectly with the delicious tasting paddle of 4 Hearts large range.

After lunch, he will head over to White Lies Brewing Co in Sumner Park. This charming small boutique brewery offers chats with the owner/head brewer himself, where your gift recipient can ask all the questions his heart desires. Tasting included, of course!!

Finish up the day at Ballistic Beer Co – one of Brisbane’s newest and coolest craft breweries. Situated in a stunning old WWII style warehouse, the crew at Ballistic Beer Co have created a seriously awesome vibe, making it the perfect final spot to have last tastings and learn more about boutique beer.

Both located conveniently in the city, he can choose to either be collected from The Gresham at 10:30am, or The Foundry at 10:45am. Drop-off can be wherever he chooses within the Brisbane CBD – perfect for those travelling to Brisvegas, or even a local wanting to see a side of the west he’s never seen before!
